Itinerary
Day 1
Vinicunca
- Early pick up at your hotel (3.30 am) for a 4 hours drive to the mountain Vinicunca (5000 msnm). We will cross several small villages such as Checacupe, Pitumarka, and finaly Quesiuno at (4200 msnm). We will make a stop for breakfast, and the guide will explain the walk we will do.. Immediately afterwards you will be ready for the trek ascending between extensive plains and families of Auquénidos (Flames, Alpacas, Sheep). You will also appreciate the imposing Mountain Ausangate on the back, you will be rewarded in the last slope that has as sight view to the mountain Vinicunca just like the "Postcard ". RETURN ROAD
- The way back home (hostel) will be with new friends you got, downhill and full of satisfaction. The walk down will be for an average of 3 hours and arrive at Quesiuno , where we will have lunch. Then the transport will will bring you back to Cusco for a period of 3 hours, the expedition ends at the center of the city of Cusco at approximately 7 pm.
